Alexander Gordon Purcell

 

Born and based in East London, he completed a BA(Hon) in Fine Art at Kensington and Chelsea college. His current work centralizes around duality and identity. Exploring perception versus reality, nostalgia for the past and apprehension of the future.

 

His work displays influences of graphic design, graffiti and abstraction. He aims to evoke a sense of ambivalence and introspection.
